Knobbe Martens’ Brian Claassen to Present on Intellectual Property at Cal State Fullerton's Research Week in Fullerton, CA on March 22

Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP Partner Brian Claassen will be presenting on Intellectual Property at Cal State Fullerton’s Research Week on March 22, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The conference will be held at the Fullerton Marriott in Fullerton, CA.

A half-day session will be hosted by the Orange County/Inland Empire Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network and will focus on SBIR/STTR presentations for entrepreneurs, small businesses and Cal State Fullerton faculty. Claassen will provide an overview of intellectual property types and why it’s valuable. Small businesses, entrepreneurs and Cal State Fullerton Faculty will have the opportunity to network to identify areas of mutual research interests.

Research Week is a celebration of faculty and student research and a vehicle for the campus community and community partners to learn about the research and collaborative partnership opportunities available at Cal State Fullerton.

The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs are highly competitive programs that encourage domestic small businesses to engage in Federal Research/Research and Development (R/R&D) that has the potential for commercialization.
