Knobbe Martens Named One Of The Top IP Firms In The Nation For Trademark Prosecution And Litigation By Managing Intellectual Property Magazine
Recognized in the survey for its trademark prosecution and trademark and copyright litigation practices, Knobbe Martens is the only firm ranked in the first tier for trademark prosecution in the Western division. According to MIP, firms listed in the first tier are regarded as having the strongest practice in their respective area. Nationally, Knobbe was one of seven firms ranked in the second tier for trademark prosecution.
In addition, the firm was recognized in tier three nationally and in tier two in the Western division for its trademark and copyright litigation practices. The survey results were compiled by teams of researchers based in London, New York, and Hong Kong who spoke with hundreds of practitioners and in-house counsel to gather information about the intellectual property law industry in 65 jurisdictions. Based on nominations submitted by nearly 4,000 IP practitioners worldwide, MIP garnered further in-depth feedback on the firms by contacting 700 industry specialists throughout the world, which was then used to rank the top IP law firms in each country and jurisdiction.
Knobbe Martens recently opened offices in Washington D.C. and Seattle, Washington, bringing their total number of offices to seven nationwide.
