The NYU annual Career Educational Fair is NYU's largest career educational event featuring practitioners from over 20 different practice areas. The Career Fair helps 1Ls identify practice areas of interest and facilitate networking contacts. Students go from table to table speaking informally with attorneys about their practice areas, inlcuding: what the practice area entails on a daily basis, the necessary skills and attributes for success in the practice area, the rewards and challenges of the practice area, and how to prepare to enter the practice area.
