Catherine Holland, a partner at Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the United States, will be presenting “Clearing marks in the U.S.: What European practitioners need to know” at the 9th Annual Taylor Wessing Brands Forum in London, England on Thursday, March 21.

Holland’s presentation will provide insights on the challenges faced in clearing marks for use and registration in the United States. Her talk will focus on factors that tend to be overlooked due to the differences between the European and American legal systems. Holland is experienced in all aspects of the domestic and international trademark industry. Her practice areas include domestic and foreign trademark selection and clearance, trademark procurement and prosecution, inter partes proceedings and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board as well as trademark and copyright enforcement and litigation.
