Derek C. Dailey is a partner in our San Diego office, specializing in patent prosecution. He works with clients to develop strategies for patent protection both in the U.S. and elsewhere, coordinating prosecution of patent portfolios of all sizes.
Mr. Dailey’s background is in mechanical engineering, with an emphasis on structural and solid mechanics and thermal systems design. His practice spans a wide range of technologies, including complex mechanical matters, clean technology, MEMS devices, and continuously variable transmissions for use in bicycles to heavy trucks.
Mr. Dailey joined the firm in 2004.
