Professional Profile 

Jared Bunker is a litigation partner in the firm’s Orange County office. 

Jared represents and counsels clients in intellectual property disputes relating to patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. His primary focus is patent litigation in the pharmaceutical and medical device fields. He has participated in all phases of the firm’s litigation practice, including ADR, pretrial, trial, and appellate stages.  

In addition to district court litigation, Jared is a registered patent attorney and represents clients in proceedings before the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He also counsels clients in patent and trademark prosecution and licensing.  

He enjoys serving on the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Society of Orange County, and is a member of the Federal Circuit Bar Association’s PTO Pro Bono Program. He also enjoys representing military veterans on a pro bono basis before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veteran Claims. He is married and has three children, including one teenager.

Jared joined the firm in 2006, and became a partner in 2012.
