SAN DIEGO, October 31, 2024 – Knobbe Martens is pleased to share that partners Daniel Kamkar and Adam Powell were profiled in San Diego Business Journal’s (SDBJ) 2024 Leaders of Influence in Law issue. According to the SBDJ, the list serves to “recognize and celebrate the outstanding legal leaders in San Diego County.”
Mr. Kamkar was named to the list for his excellent track record of counseling clients, with the help of his background in scientific research, in a wide range of technological industries including batteries, solar cells, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, polymers, alloys, lasers, and other areas of chemistry, physics and materials science. Additionally, he was recognized for his community involvement, including a leadership role with the Iranian American Bar Association’s San Diego Chapter.
Mr. Powell, co-chair of the firm’s antitrust practice, earned a spot on the list based on his extensive experience litigating trade secret, patent, and antitrust cases. The publication also highlighted his contributions to and leadership roles within several San Diego legal organizations, such as the San Diego Intellectual Property Law Association. Earlier this year, he was named among Daily Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40” lawyers in California.
