Overview
Michael is an associate in the firm’s San Diego office, focusing on patent prosecution, portfolio management, and due diligence in the mechanical, electronics, and medical device fields.
Michael earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a J.D. from USC Gould School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. During law school, Michael participated in the USPTO’s National Patent Application Drafting Competition and the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Clinic. At Berkeley, Michael worked for a medical device startup that was later acquired by a publicly traded company.
Michael was a summer associate in 2023 before joining the firm in 2024.
