Tim Willis' practice focuses on strategic patent prosecution, portfolio management, and due diligence. Tim currently assists clients in the electronics, communications, computer, information technology, medical devices, artificial intelligence, and semiconductor industries.
Before joining the firm, Tim worked as a systems engineer for Honeywell Aerospace, creating design requirements and hardware/software qualification tests for space vehicle and aircraft inertial navigation systems. Tim also has industry experience as an electrical reliability engineer in industrial manufacturing facilities and chemical plants.
Tim received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Florida State University College of Law. During law school, Tim served as an editor for both the Business Law Review and the Journal of Transnational Law and Policy, and received the highest grade in seven classes including Introduction to Intellectual Property Law.
