Morgan is an associate in the firm’s New York office. She represents clients in all aspects of protecting and enforcing their intellectual property.
Morgan counsels clients in domestic and international trademark and copyright portfolio management, from trademark selection and searching, prosecution, and procurement to enforcement and protection of her client’s brands, including notice and takedown procedures, counterfeit enforcement, and domain name disputes. In addition to her prosecution practice, Morgan has experience representing clients in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and in U.S. federal court. Morgan’s experience in litigation and client counseling enables her to give clients well-rounded and comprehensive legal advice, assess risks, and recommend solutions.
Before law school, Morgan worked in-house at a large corporation where she focused on global brand protection and international enforcement issues. From this experience, she is acutely aware of her clients’ needs and expectations and remains committed to understanding and meeting them. She is responsive, diligent, and highly pragmatic in protecting and enforcing her clients’ brands.
Morgan received her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, where she served as a Senior Articles Editor for the Washington International Law Journal and as a member of the Moot Court Honor Board. She received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Portland in 2015.
