Jason practices intellectual property law, with a focus on patent preparation and prosecution in various mechanical and medical device fields, such as surgical and injection devices, stents, automotive assemblies, aerospace systems, housewares and consumer goods, merchandise control systems, conveying devices, and energy extraction systems.
Jason has extensive experience conducting patentability and infringement analyses, as well as in developing comprehensive intellectual property strategies for clients.
Before law school, he worked as a designer in electronic control systems and as a mechanical engineer for a leading automotive and aerospace component manufacturer. During law school, Jason served as the Managing Editor of the Cincinnati Law Review.
Jason worked as a summer associate at the firm in 2008 and joined the firm in 2009.
