Emily is an associate in the firm’s Orange County office. Her practice includes patent prosecution and IP litigation. Emily represents clients in a variety of technologies including computer software and hardware, artificial intelligence, blockchain and smart contracts, unmanned vehicles, and big data analytics.
Emily graduated cum laude from Boston University with a degree in computer science. Prior to law school, Emily worked as a SQL developer at a healthcare software company. Emily’s work helped healthcare practitioners synthesize and analyze critical metrics for the health of their patients.
Emily graduated cum laude from University of California, Irvine School of Law, where she served on the UCI Law Review. While at UC Irvine, Emily also worked as a research assistant for the former United Nations Special Rapporteur, conducting research on international internet privacy rights and the law. Emily also has a passion for foreign languages and speaks Portuguese and Italian.
