Emily is an Associate in the firm’s Orange County office. As a member of the trademark practice group, Emily provides counseling on brand development and protection, including the selection and clearance of trademarks, opposition and cancellation proceedings, trademark and copyright licensing, copyright registration and enforcement, unfair competition, and domain name disputes.
She has worked with clients in several industries including food and beverage, restaurant and hospitality, media and entertainment, fashion and apparel, and consumer goods.
Emily received her law degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, summa cum laude, in May 2019. In law school, she worked as an Advanced Certified Law Student in the Intellectual Property, Arts, and Technology Clinic advising clients on issues involving copyright, fair use, defamation, and rights of publicity. After law school, Emily further specialized in Intellectual Property at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she received a Master of Laws degree with Merit in November 2020.
