Arsen is data privacy and security counsel at Knobbe Martens. He is certified through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as an Information Privacy Professional for data privacy laws in the United States, Europe, Asia and Canada, and an Information Privacy Manager. In addition, because of his years of experience in data privacy and credentials, IAPP has inducted Arsen as a Fellow of Information Privacy.
As data privacy counsel, Arsen regularly advises clients regarding their privacy policies and procedures, vendor contracts, and issues related to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act, the European General Data Protection Regulation, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, data privacy laws in Asia, and emerging data privacy laws.
Arsen also has significant experience defending companies against individual and class action lawsuits arising out of, among other things, invasion of privacy, theft of cryptocurrency, identity theft, false advertising, unfair business practices, credit reporting, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and other consumer protection laws.
