Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP is pleased to announce that Ed Schlatter, a partner in the firm’s Orange County office, has been re-elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the 8,000-member Orange County Bar Association (OCBA).
Schlatter, whose practice focuses on developing and executing worldwide patent and trademark protection strategies for clients across diverse industries, has been active in the legal profession and in his community for many years. He has been an active member of the OCBA for the past 25 years and a member of the Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee of the Orange County Bar Foundation since 2011. In addition, he has served on the statewide Board and as Chair of the Conference of California Bar Associations (Conference of Delegates). At Knobbe Martens, he leads the firm’s Mechanical Engineering Practice Group.
OC Metro magazine named Schlatter as one of “O.C.’s Top Lawyers” in the both the category of Intellectual Property Law and the category of Patent Applications in 2009, and from 2012 through 2015.
