Commenting on his ascension to the FCBA presidency, Dr. Reisman said, “For nearly four decades, the FCBA has been the preeminent organization for members of the Federal Circuit bar. During this time, the Association has served as a pivotal voice in supporting and strengthening the Court through advocacy and education. I look forward to continuing the strong legacy of leadership developed by prior Association Presidents, and embrace this wonderful opportunity.”

“Joe is a visionary and a highly-respected leader within the Federal Circuit community,” said Federal Circuit Bar Association® Executive Director Deborah M. Miron. “In addition to serving as FCBA Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors, Joe also very ably served as Chair of the Association’s Amicus and Scholarship Committees. The Association unites the different groups who practice within the legal community, including adjudicators from the Federal Circuit, government, and district courts, government policy makers, top private practitioners, and corporate lawyers, both domestically and globally. The FCBA seeks to strengthen and serve the Court through its Committees, who work to improve and facilitate the administration of justice through open and inclusive dialogue on emerging issues with thought leaders in the subject areas of the Court’s jurisdiction, and offers a forum for common concerns and dialogue between the bench and bar via its regional programs, webinars, flagship Bench & Bar® Conference, and Global Series Sessions.
