Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP has announced that partners Ned Israelsen, Fred Berretta, Joseph Reisman, and Boris Zelkind have been included in the 2011 edition of San Diego Super Lawyers for their intellectual property law and litigation practices. This is the fifth consecutive year Israelsen and Berretta have been listed, the third consecutive year Zelkind has been listed, and the second year Reisman has been listed.
Israelsen, managing partner of the San Diego office, is one of eight attorneys recognized by San Diego Super Lawyers for his intellectual property law practice. He focuses his practice on advising startup companies and established businesses in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical industries.
Berretta has been recognized for his intellectual property litigation practice. He primarily handles patent infringement cases involving medical devices, electronics and communications, computers and software, semiconductors, and mechanical devices.
Reisman has been recognized for both his intellectual property litigation and client counseling practices. He focuses his practice on the chemical and pharmaceutical industries and, in particular, he has extensive experience patent portfolio development, counseling, and litigation (including appellate work) under the Hatch-Waxman Act.
Zelkind has also been recognized for his intellectual property litigation practice. He focuses his practice on patent infringement litigation in areas of medical devices and electronics, including appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and trademark infringement actions throughout the United States.
