WASHINGTON, D.C., June 1, 2026 – Knobbe Martens is pleased to share that four of the firm’s lawyers have been recognized by Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers. William Zimmerman was named among the region’s “Super Lawyers”, while partners Justin Culbertson, Ph.D., and Christopher Lewis, and associate Paige Cappelli, were deemed “Rising Stars” on the 2026 Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers list.
Mr. Zimmerman, Managing Partner of Knobbe Martens’ Washington, D.C. office, serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Hatch-Waxman Litigation practice and is recognized as one of the nation’s premier life science litigators. Dr. Culbertson advises clients in the chemical, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and biotechnology industries on global patent portfolio management, opinion and due diligence work. Elevated to partner earlier this year, Mr. Lewis focuses on patent prosecution, including patent portfolio management and development, licensing, and due diligence. Ms. Cappelli primarily focuses her practice on patent prosecution in the mechanical and medical device areas.
Super Lawyers honors outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
