IRVINE, Calif., January 8, 2026 – Knobbe Martens is pleased to share that partner Jason Champion has been named a “Rising Star” by the International Trademark Association (INTA).
The INTA Rising Star program identifies and cultivates future leaders in the IP profession. Each year, INTA committee chairs, vice chairs, and staff liaisons recommend individuals who demonstrate a commitment to the IP profession or INTA through substantive IP work and dynamic skills.
An active INTA member, Mr. Champion currently serves on the organization’s Professional Development Committee. He previously chaired the Young Practitioners Committee, served two terms on INTA’s Programming Advisory Council, and was a member of the Data Protection Committee.
Mr. Champion advises clients on trademark and brand protection litigation matters across a range of industries, including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, fashion, and entertainment. He has represented clients in various venues including in district court, in United States Patent and Trademark Office proceedings, and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. In 2025, he was recognized by World Intellectual Property Review for outstanding trademark and brand protection work.
Mr. Champion and his fellow “Rising Stars” will be recognized at INTA’s 2026 Annual Meeting in London this spring.
