Overview
JC Zhang is a patent scientist at the San Francisco office focusing on the protection of intellectual property relating to physics, material science, optics, and mechanics. She has a background in experimental condensed matter physics and is passionate about all areas of applied sciences.
Before joining the firm, JC worked as a post-doctoral scholar studying ultrafast optical detectors for PET machines. She received her Ph.D. in physics for the measurement and analysis of the thermal properties of strongly correlated quantum materials using optical methods.
