Overview
Fatima Kouadio is an associate in the firm’s Orange County office. She helps clients with a variety of intellectual property matters with a focus on patent litigation.
Fatima received her J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law, where she earned a concentration in intellectual property law and was an active member of the Black Law Student Association and the Environment and Natural Resources Group. Fatima spent her final year in law school doing pro bono work in the patent clinic assisting individuals with securing patent protection for their inventions across a variety of technological fields. In addition to her J.D., Fatima also received a mediation certificate while in law school.
Prior to law school, Fatima received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Texas Woman’s University, summa cum laude. As an undergraduate, Fatima conducted research focusing on the luminescent properties of inorganic coordination compounds and the utilization of green chemistry methods for compound synthesis. In addition, Fatima worked as a Teaching Assistant in General Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Physics labs.
Fatima worked as a summer associate in 2023 before joining the firm in 2024.
