Christian Fenton

Chris Fenton is Senior Counsel at the firm’s OC office.  Chris received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of California at Santa Cruz before going to law school at the scenic University of Hawaii and is licensed to practice law in California and Hawaii. Prior to joining Knobbe Martens, Chris served as in-house Senior Counsel at a Bay Area synthetic biology company, focusing on technology transactions, providing him with a first-hand understanding of a client’s needs and priorities.

Chris has experience counseling clients on a diverse range of technology agreements, including development and partnership agreements, research services agreements, technology licenses, software and SaaS agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other contracts.
