Excerpt: “IP litigators said adapting to COVID-19 was and remains the biggest challenge of 2021, whether it’s been remote depositions, court hearings or claim construction conducted via Zoom. 'There is really is no substitute for being in the courtroom and being able to hand items over to a judge and have him or her really see the technology up close and really understand it,' said Sheila Swaroop, litigation practice co-chair at Knobbe Martens. 'So that’s definitely been a challenge,' she said."
