Tyler Cox is an Associate in the firm’s San Francisco office. His practice focuses on patent prosecution in semiconductors and other areas of physics and engineering.
Tyler earned his B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. During college, he interned at PACCAR and conducted research on the crustal magnetization of Mars.
Before attending law school, Tyler worked as a Scientific Advisor and Patent Agent.
Tyler received his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law where he earned a High Tech Law Certificate with a specialization in Intellectual Property. At Santa Clara, he served on the board of the Student Intellectual Property Legal Association and as an associate for the High Tech Law Journal. He also worked as a Student Associate for the Entrepreneurs’ Law Clinic.
Tyler worked as a summer associate with the firm in 2021 and joined the firm in 2022.
