Kregg A. Koch is a partner in Knobbe Martens' Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on mechanical, cleantech, and medical devices in the areas of patent prosecution, counseling, licensing, and litigation support.
In addition to his educational background in environment, civil, and mechanical engineering, Kregg spent several years working as a component design engineer on the Space Shuttle Main Engine rocket program for the Rocketdyne division of The Boeing Company. In particular, he worked as a conceptual design and manufacturing support engineer. While working on this program, Kregg received NASA’s Space Flight Awareness Award for engine safety related mechanical design contributions.
In a survey of his peers published in Super Lawyers magazine, Mr. Koch was named as one of Southern California’s “Rising Stars” in intellectual property law in 2009.
