A patent suit against Google and Samsung by licensing firm Unwired Planet went to trial the week of October 5, 2015 in London, and Partner Mauricio Uribe was quoted in Law360 commenting that while nonpracticing entity cases are rare in Europe, overseas venues could become more popular given the current atmosphere with Section 101 and inter partes reviews in the United States.
