The primary focus of the site is to provide an online clearinghouse for various resources needed by every medical device startup company. Established companies and repeat founders often have their contacts fully identified. However, many first time founders and young companies must go through the inefficient process of inventing their own network.

Von Hoffmann, who is a partner at the intellectual property law firm Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP, says the site is currently working to build the depth of its content. A variety of plans for expansion are under evaluation. “We’ll be looking to the viewers to contact us and provide input on how best to improve the site.
