Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear has been recognized as the largest intellectual property law firm in San Diego in an annual survey conducted by The San Diego Daily Transcript. The annual survey included both intellectual property exclusive firms as well as large multi-practice national law firms with an intellectual property emphasis. The survey ranked firms by the number of USPTO registered attorneys located in San Diego.
The San Diego office, which was opened in 1984, currently has 52 attorneys, all of whom practice exclusively in intellectual property law. All of the San Diego attorneys have a degree in science or engineering, including 17 with Ph.Ds. The firm, with a total of almost 250 attorneys, is headquartered in Irvine, with additional offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Riverside, Seattle and Washington D.C.
“Our firm is pleased to be recognized as the largest intellectual property firm in San Diego,” said Ned Israelsen, managing partner of the San Diego office of Knobbe Martens. “Our success is a direct result of the continued growth of the companies we work with locally, nationally and internationally.”
