Ned Israelsen, managing partner of Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP’s San Diego office, was named Pharmaceutical “Patent Prosecution Attorney of the Year” by Legal Media Group (LMG). The inaugural LMG Life Sciences awards ceremony took place on Wednesday, September 25 at Essex House in New York City, where LMG recognized and honored the leading attorneys, law firms and in-house counsel teams that have played a significant role in the life sciences industry over the past year.
LMG Life Sciences honored Israelsen for his work in intellectual property patent prosecution, focused on worldwide patent protection strategies, avoidance of third party intellectual property, portfolio building, due diligence, intellectual property opinions and licensing. The award was given as part of LMG’s awards program that is an offshoot of the LMG Life Sciences rankings published late last spring.
