IP firm Knobbe Martens scored a win for client STAR envirotech at the end of 2015 when the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit affirmed a PTAB decision upholding the validity of a STAR patent in a precedent setting 33-page opinion. The patent relates to evaporative emission testing control systems and is used by several leading auto manufacturers including GM, Ford, and Chrysler.
