Overview
Devanie A. DuFour’s practice includes patent prosecution with an emphasis on competitive strategies. She focuses on the mechanical and medical device industry. Ms. DuFour was a Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where she reviewed orthopedic, dental, and surgical technologies.
Ms. DuFour received her Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. For her undergraduate thesis, she designed a robotic arm to teach autistic children social movements. She attended William & Mary School of Law, where she interned at the William & Mary Technology Transfer Office.
Ms. DuFour worked as a summer associate in 2012 and joined the firm as an associate in 2013.
