Knobbe Martens celebrates the historic confirmation of Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson to the United States Supreme Court. This is a momentous occasion in our nation’s history and a huge step forward for diversity in the American judicial system. Justice Jackson will be the 116th Justice and the first Black woman to sit on the Supreme Court. Her appointment also marks the first time two Black justices will sit on the Supreme Court simultaneously, as well as the first time four women will serve together on the Court. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are pillars of Knobbe Martens, and we believe representation matters. We congratulate Justice Jackson and hope her historic appointment will inspire future generations of Americans.
