IRVINE, Calif., June 5, 2024 – Knobbe Martens is pleased to announce that litigation partners Christy Lea and Kendall Loebbaka have been named to the Orange County Business Journal list of “Women in STEM.”

The Business Journal describes the women on this list as “[exemplifying] the diverse opportunities and significant impact that women can have in STEM fields within Orange County,” and who are “helping to pave the way for future generations of women in STEM.”

Ms. Lea, who co-chairs the firm’s Medical Device Litigation practice, was recognized for her experience “serving as lead counsel in numerous high-impact patent litigation disputes,” including her defense of Edwards Lifesciences and its patient-focused medical innovations.

The OCBJ deemed Ms. Loebbaka a “rapidly rising star in the Orange County legal community,” citing her involvement in the Knobbe Martens team that represented Masimo in securing an import ban on certain Apple Watches earlier this year.
