Overview
Wen (“Windy”) Chen assists clients with a variety of intellectual property matters, with a focus on patent litigation. Windy leverages her interdisciplinary background in life sciences, economics, and law to help clients navigate complex intellectual property disputes and strategic business issues.
Windy was a member of the UC Davis Law Review and served as Speaker Chair of the King Hall Intellectual Property Law Association. During law school, she was recognized for her academic achievements with the Reynoso Academic Awards in Biodiversity Law, Remedies, and Trusts, Wills, and Estates.
Windy’s interdisciplinary background in science and economics provides a strong foundation for understanding the complex technologies and business considerations that frequently arise in intellectual property matters. Before attending law school, she also worked in pharmaceutical consulting, where she advised clients on issues related to drug pricing, market access, and reimbursement for innovative healthcare products, including oncology and rare disease therapies.
