Speaking with aerospace industry publication The Space Report, partner Tom Cowan shared his perspective on the state of investment in the space sector across startups and mature companies.
In the article “Nontraditional Investors Unleash Record Funding to Launch Startups, Accelerate New Space Companies,” Cowan expressed how factors such as the maturity of launch systems and advancements by launch vehicle companies have attracted more diverse investors to space companies. He emphasized the role of drastically decreased launch costs in this investment development, noting that “new players see a higher probability of return on investment given the maturity of the launch market.”
