Knobbe Martens is pleased to announce it has welcomed a class of first-year associates to the firm. While currently working in a remote capacity along with their colleagues firmwide due to the pandemic, members of the 2020-2021 Associate Class are affiliated with the firm’s offices in Orange County, San Diego, Seattle, New York, and Washington, D.C.

- Benjamin Black (Orange County) holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
- Paige Cappelli (Washington, D.C.) holds a J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
- Spencer Carter (Orange County) holds a J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
- Melissa Chen (Orange County) holds a J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law and a B.A. in International Relations and Chinese from the University of California, Davis.
- Shelley Chen (Orange County) holds a J.D. from George Washington University Law School, an M.S. in Materials Science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich and a B.S. in Materials Chemistry from Nanjing University.
