For over 15 years, Mr. Zimmerman’s practice has focused on pharmaceutical matters, representing companies with respect to a large variety of generic drugs and biosimilars. He represents clients in all aspects of intellectual property disputes, focusing primarily on litigation at the district court and appellate levels and as counsel in inter partes review proceedings. Mr. Zimmerman has extensive experience as lead trial and appellate counsel in such matters. He previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Alvin A. Schall at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit..
Mr. Bachand’s practice focuses on patent litigation under the Hatch-Waxman Act. He has been involved in numerous litigations involving pharmaceuticals, medical devices and other technologies. Mr. Bachand also represents numerous clients in the chemical and biotechnology industry in inter partes review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and in appeals at the Federal Circuit. He previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Kimberly A. Moore of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
