Tirzah Lowe, a partner at Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP, was presented with the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s (NAPABA) “Best Lawyer Under 40” award at the their 24th Annual Convention held in Washington D.C. on November 17, 2012. The convention celebrates Asian Pacific American attorneys and their contribution to the progress of the Asian Pacific Community.
The NAPABA’s “Best Lawyer Under 40” award recognizes talented Asian Pacific American attorneys under the age of 40 who have achieved prominence in their field. These individuals have not only attained prominence in their respective legal endeavors, but have also exhibited a steadfast commitment to public service, particularly in the Asian Pacific American community. Recipients of the award are acknowledged for having obtained high levels of success in their legal careers at a relatively young age.
Ms. Lowe practices domestic and international trademark, copyright and Internet law. She has hundreds of federal trademark filings to her name and has prosecuted dozens of cases before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. In addition, Lowe has a robust foreign trademark practice, both representing foreign companies in the U.S. and extending her U.S. clients’ trademarks globally. Lowe also currently serves as the President of the Orange County Asian American Bar Association (OCAABA) and recently finished her term as Regional Governor for the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA). During her term as OCAABA President, OCAABA received the Asian Pacific American Legal Center’s (APALC) Community Partnership Award for its co-sponsorship of the pro bono legal clinic and hosted the 2012 NAPABA Western Regional Conference.
