Michael Fuller, a partner in the San Diego office of Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP, has been named to the CommNexus San Diego Board of Directors for 2012. Fuller is one of 11 industry executives selected to serve on the Board for the coming year.
Due to Fuller’s diverse technology background, he represents clients in a wide range of technologies, including molecular biology, pharmaceuticals, electronics, Internet software and wireless communications. He also represents a number of clients in bioinformatics technologies such as DNA arrays and biotechnology-related software. His practice also includes patent prosecution, strategic planning and counsel relating to infringement and licensing issues, as well as intellectual property due diligence studies and related negotiations for mergers and acquisitions.
Fuller is also a well-known speaker and writer on current trends and issues relating to intellectual property. Recent talks have covered patent reform, patent prosecution strategies, and advanced licensing and deal-making.
