Joseph Re, a partner in the Orange County office of Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear, LLP, has been recognized as one of California’s top intellectual property attorneys in The Daily Journal’s 2010 list of Top 75 IP Litigation Attorneys.
Re has extensive experience in taking patent cases to trial and on appeal, primarily for his firm’s medical-device clients. He tries cases on behalf of both patent owners and those accused of patent infringement. The Journal recognized Re for several recent cases he successfully tried or argued on appeal before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. In those cases, he represented clients such as BE Aerospace, Smith & Nephew, Schindler Elevator, and Applied Medical Resources.
