Skybox imaging’s first satellite SkySat-1 has been deployed in low-earth orbit and is now taking images of the Earth. SkySat-1 is the smallest satellite ever flown that can produce imagery and video with better than 1-meter resolution. SkySat-1 is the first satellite in a planned constellation of 24 imaging satellites. Knobbe Martens obtained patents covering the SkySat-1 satellite, its imaging detector, and methods for acquiring and analyzing the images. We look forward to more successful launches in the future!
