KFx Medical Corporation announced that it received a Notice of Allowance of claims from an additional knotless double row rotator cuff repair patent application used in Orthopedic Sports Medicine.
“This will bring KFx’s total to four patents directed to knotless double row rotator cuff repairs. Our patent counsel, Knobbe, Martens, Olson and Bear, has done an extraordinary job for us in the prosecution of our patent estate. Three of the patents currently are being asserted in our litigation versus Arthrex, Inc. We look forward to trial in 2013 to vindicate our rights in the proprietary knotless double row repair methods that Arthrex continues to promote in violation of our patents, ” indicated Tate Scott, president and CEO.
