Just 19 months after Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear, LLP, first opened its Seattle office, the office is headed to larger space to accommodate its continued growth. The office is ideally situated to serve the e-commerce, computer software, telecommunications, retail, medical device, biotechnology and other life sciences industries that thrive in the Pacific Northwest. The full-service office represents clients in all aspects of intellectual property law including prosecution, litigation, consulting and licensing.
“The Seattle office was opened to serve as a strategic asset to the firm’s many clients located in the area,” said Knobbe Martens’ managing partner, Steven Nataupsky. “We are pleased to see this office expand.”
The office, which opened in February 2008, will now be located in the U.S. Bank Centre Building at 1420 Fifth Avenue, Suite 3600, in downtown Seattle. The move enables Knobbe Martens to continue providing the highest quality intellectual property services to its clients in the Pacific Northwest, the Pacific Rim, and beyond.
Resident attorneys in the Seattle office include Maria Culic Anderson, Carol Pitzel Cruz, Melanie Seelig, Christopher Sweeney, and Mauricio Uribe. On September 14th the office will welcome first year associate Amanda Carmany-Rampey. Carmany-Rampey completed her J.D. at University of Washington School of Law, holds a Ph.D. in cell biology from New York University and spent over three years working for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
