Overview
Nichole R. Johnston, Ph.D. specializes in intellectual property across the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical, and medical device fields.
Before joining the firm, Nichole worked in Oncology research at Genentech, Toxicology research at the Green Science Policy institute, and Neurobiology research at Caltech. As an undergraduate Nichole Johnston researched isotope labeling in plants, and genetic factors that influence altruistic behavior in birds. During her Ph.D., Nichole worked with Dr. Scott A. Strobel at Yale University studying the molecular mechanism of fluoride toxicity and proteins that work to confer tolerance to fluoride.
