Overview
As a member of the firm’s trademark practice group, Charlie focuses on domestic and international trademark, unfair competition, and copyright law.
Charlie’s practice includes domestic and foreign trademark searching, prosecution and enforcement, global portfolio management, intellectual property transactions and agreements, inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and copyright registration and enforcement. He also advises individuals and businesses of all sizes on worldwide trademark portfolio development and oversees international opposition and cancellation proceedings, including settlement.
During law school, he served as an Articles Editor for the Michigan Technology Law Review. Charlie’s undergraduate studies focused on political science.
