Knobbe Martens Welcomes New Class of Associates

Knobbe Martens announces its continued commitment to providing the highest quality legal services with the addition of 30 new Associates firmwide.

“Our new associates have a wide range of talents and excellent academic and industry credentials,” said Steven J. Nataupsky, the firm’s managing partner. “We are delighted to welcome them to the firm.”

Twelve of the new associates join the Orange County office. They are Christian Boettcher, Charles Crane, Geetha Durairaj, Ph.D., Cesar Estrada, Steven Friedland, Raymond Lu, Alex MartindelCampo, Nefi Oliva, Matthew Pham, Nyja Prior, Clint Saylor and Timothy Trost.

The New York and San Diego offices welcome six new associates each. In New York, Jason Francis, Ph.D., Rory Lootsma, Raina Patel, Brittany Penn, Stacy Rush, and Alexander Trimes join the firm. San Diego adds Rob Arbulu, Julia Hanson, Brianne Kingery, Joshua Loader, Alistair Mclntyre, and Harry Park.

Kenneth McNeill, Morgan Robertson, and Logan Young join the Seattle office; Mary Bao and Michelle Ziperstein, Ph.D., are resident in Los Angeles; and Fred Feyzi joins the San Francisco office.

The firm also hired 5 lateral associates this year, including Thomas Loy in New York, Alexander Slafkosky in Washington D.C., Kate McMorrow in Los Angeles, and Brian Barnes in Orange County. Julie Vo will join the Orange County office in November.

The firm’s 2021 class of associates earned law degrees from schools across the country, including University of Arizona; University of Florida; University of Michigan; Texas A&M University; University of Southern California; University of Houston; University of Illinois; Brigham Young University; University of California, Irvine; University of San Diego; University of Utah; University of California, Berkeley; Albany Law School; University of California, Hastings; Boston College; University of Washington; University of Texas; University of Toronto; Boston University; Case Western Reserve University; University of California, Los Angeles; and University of Maryland.

The new associates hold an impressive array of undergraduate degrees, including many fields of engineering, biochemistry, computer science, materials science, molecular biology, and physics. Seven of the new associates have a Ph.D. or master’s degree.
