On September 1, 2026, medical device company DermaSensor Inc. announced four new industry partnerships. DermaSensor is focused on early detection of skin cancer. DermaSensor’s website states: “The DermaSensor device is the only FDA cleared, automated solution for skin cancer detection. The non-invasive, AI-powered device improves the early detection of cancerous lesions.”
The announced partnerships are intended “to accelerate growth in the US.” It is expected that the new partnerships will provide for greater access to DermaSensor’s technology nationwide. The new industry partnerships identified in the press release include:
- An approved supplier partnership with Henry Schein Medical.
- A nationwide agreement with a major healthcare provider.
- A sales partnership with MedTech MedCare (MTMC).
- A partnership appointing Medical Place as an exclusive reseller to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
In the press release, DermaSensor Co-Founder and CEO Cody Simmons stated:
These partnerships represent an important milestone in our commercialization strategy. They greatly expand our reach across community practices, enterprise healthcare organizations, and federal healthcare systems, positioning us well to impact millions of patients in the years to come, with over 40,000 suspicious lesions already scanned to date.
As discussed in the press release, the partnerships should provide several benefits including “expand[ing] DermaSensor’s reach across the U.S. healthcare market and strengthen[ing] the infrastructure needed to support broad adoption.” DermaSensor also expects these partnerships to assist in accelerating its commercialization.
