Knobbe Martens is pleased to announce that the firm has once again been ranked as one of the top law firms in California for intellectual property, life sciences, and patent prosecution in Chambers & Partners newly released 2020 “USA” guide.

The firm received a Band 1 ranking (highest) for the third year in a row for Patent Prosecution and was praised by Chambers as a “highly respected IP boutique” with extensive experience advising clients with regard to IP portfolio management matters including patent prosecution proceedings and due diligence for corporate transactions, as well as handling PTAB proceedings and trade secrets litigation. The firm was also ranked for its Life Sciences practice.

Chambers described Knobbe lawyers as "timely, excellent communicators and reliable legal advisers,” adding that “their customer service is what should be offered by every law firm."

Merani was individually ranked for patent prosecution and was described as delivering "a highly focused and commercial approach". She has two decades of experience aiding life sciences clients in building their portfolios. Recently, Merani served as lead IP counsel in deals valued at nearly $2 billion.

Re was ranked in the patent category and lauded for being "especially skilled at both trial and appellate matters".
