Knobbe Martens Hosts Reception at New York Intellectual Property Law Association (NYIPLA) Dinner in Honor of the Federal Judiciary

On Friday, March 31, Knobbe Martens hosted a reception at the New York Hilton Midtown during the New York Intellectual Property Law Association’s (NYIPLA) Dinner in Honor of the Federal Judiciary. The annual black-tie event was attended by more than 2,600 guests including federal judges, government officials, corporate counsel, legal professionals, and representatives from other intellectual property associations. The firm’s reception, held before and after the dinner, featured a martini bar, hors d'oeuvres, and jazz performances by Juilliard students.

The firm’s presence at the NYIPLA event came on the heels of its announcement that it will open an office in New York City, marking the firm’s eighth location nationwide.

At the dinner, the NYIPLA presented the Outstanding Public Service Award to Honorable Denny Chin, Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Walter Isaacson, President of the Aspen Institute and author of The Innovators: How a Group of Hackers, Geniuses, and Geeks Created the Digital Revolution, served as the Keynote Speaker.
