Knobbe Martens' Hosts "Women in IP" Dinner In Seattle

Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear, LLP recently sponsored the “Women in IP Cross-Country Networking Dinner” in Seattle. Sponsored by the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), Knobbe Martens’ dinner was one of twenty-six dinners for female intellectual property attorneys held simultaneously across the United States and Canada.

The dinners provide female intellectual property law attorneys with an opportunity to meet with other women for an evening of mentoring, networking and education. Thirty-five female intellectual property law attorneys gathered in Knobbe Martens’ Seattle office to share their experiences and insights.

Loria Yeadon, Chief IP Counsel for Intellectual Ventures, was the speaker at the Knobbe Martens dinner. Ms. Yeadon discussed her career development and offered tips and inspiration for other women in the profession. Attendees of the dinner included in-house counsel from Amgen, Big Fish Games, Boeing, Expedia, Intellectual Ventures, Microsoft, T-Mobile USA, Weyerhaeuser and ZymoGenetics.

In 2009, Knobbe Martens hosted the Women in IP Cross-Country Networking Dinner in Irvine, California. The firm looks forwards to hosting in another city in 2011.
